NS-9100 sensor - scp file to sensor from server

i am trying to update a sensor to a new version but it is not connected to a manager at the moment. I dont have a tftp server and i am trying to move the upgrade files from the server to the sensor or have the sensor scp the files from the server. any ideas if this can be done? when i scp to the sensor it connects but then halts and doesnt finish the connection.

Hi @mikeyland1981 

It's quite difficult to answer why the SCP connection halts. I personally use TFTP server and is quite easy to use. Kindly download TFTP server setup file from the URL: http://tftpd32.jounin.net/tftpd32_download.html

Steps to use TFTP:

- Extract the sensor software *.jar file [change the extension to *.zip to unzip]

- Copy all the contents {files + folder} to the TFTP root server

I hope this helps you to upgrade the Sensor.
