SIEM Requirements in WM virtual environment

Hello, One of our customers had no problems with SIEM when their virtual environment was VMware Workstation 7.0. When they upgraded to VMware Workstation 8.0, SIEM started to give disk errors. Meanwhile, they moved the SIEM server. Then how should the operating system requirements be on VMware Workstation. Could you give information? Best Regards,
