Anyone else have the problem with siteadvisor and google instant search on IE8? From much testing it appears that the icons showing the safety rating will only appear on the first page, but not on the 2 or 3....... Turning off google instant search resolves the issue. It appears it does not affect Siteadvisor if you search directly from the home page of google, just when you do a search from the IE search bar.
I should mention even though the icon does not appear that Siteadvisor still block the pages or pops up warnings.

The scripts file was newer. it does look like it is not a problem anymore.
Yes I am experiencing it too. I am hoping patch 2 for SiteAdvisor 3.0 resolves this issue?
SAE 3.0 patch 2 is currently available and posted to the download server.
To provide search rating annotations, SAE uses scripts. When a search engine makes changes to the URL used to display search results, SAE needs updated scripts. Google made changes for search results in IE 8 in February of 2010.
Check the time stamps on this file:
C:\Program Files\McAfee\SiteAdvisor Enterprise\scripts\safe_ie.js
If the date is from December 2009, you are not getting updating scripts.
If you are behind a proxy, you will need SAE 3.0 HF 555832. See PD22690 for more information. This hotfix is available through escalating a service request to McAfee support.
This hotfix will be included in SAE 3.0 patch 3 which is currently targeting end of Q1 2011 for release.
