Is there a bug in patch 14?

Jump to solution

Have deployed patch 14 to my systems.

In EPO many are reporting they are still on patch 13 but when you go to the system itself it has patch 14 installed. Telling the Agent to send full properties has no effect.

I deployed agent 5.6.3 just before - this is having a similar mis match  on reporting to EPO on some systems.

problem seems random Windows 7, 2008, 2008R2

some show new agent but old patch, some show new patch but old agent. All actually are up to date.

not sure if issue is related to new agent or new patch.

Can you also confirm which version of ePO you are using please? I only ask because there is a known issue for ePO 5.10 concerning properties: KB92203

HEllo @Deanpj ,

Adding to @Former Member , we recently released a hotfix to resolve this issue, but we have to verify if you are using EPO 5.10 Update 5 , then only this applies in your case, else there might be some different issue that we have to look into.

If you are using EPO 5.10 update 5 please raise a case with support to get the fix.

Also just seen - seems to be a similar thread running under the EPO forum.

Running full agent wake up has not resolved - but as noted in the kb the numbers of misreporting machines have decreased a bit. Will seek the hotfix. thanks.
