VSE performance issues on machines running BranchCache (W7)

Hello all. I just spent some time investigating VSE 8.8 (patch4) performance issues in our environment. Random machines running  scheduled ODS (full drive) had issues with full RAM and very hard impact on system performance. The issue didn't dissappeared after the scan finished. It seems this is caused by VSE accessing BranchCache folder (C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Local\PeerDistRepub\) during the scan. The full RAM issue after scan can be solved with BranchCache service restart. We are testing as a workaround to exclude BranchCache folder from the scan. Will update this post after I get more info.

The vendor should have a set of antivirus exclusions you will need to apply to those devices.  Have you looked at the SCCM antivirus exclusions list Microsoft provides?
