I have a need to remotely configure and enable RMM on some MWG appliances and found instructions in the hardware guide. I'm a little confused about the first step when prompted to choose between (onboard|rmm) and the instructional photo shows "onboard" as the selection. Is this referencing the fact that the RMM is onboard? To my way of thinking if I want to enable the RMM port then shouldn't I choose "rmm" at this first prompt rather than "onboard"? Maybe I'm overthinking this, but the fact that it displays "LAN IP Address" after that I want to make sure I'm not accidentally modifying the LAN IP of the appliance. I just want to configure RMM.

Hi,
the 7.8.2 hardware guide contains more details about this:
https://docs.mcafee.com/bundle/web-gateway-7.8.2-hardware-guide/page/GUID-EF6541FF-5909-46BC-AC78-97...
So you can select what you want. This just defines the used port on the appliance. Option "onboard" takes the first onboard NIC and "rmm" the out-of-band RMM NIC.

Thanks! This solution worked great.
