How to find the MWG appliance model via GUI

I've just found out that some models of MWG will be EOL by the end of the year and I wanted to make sure that our MWG isn't one of them. I  don't have CLI access atm  and I'm just wondering if there is  another way to locate this information aside from the CLI.

The only way to find this from the GUI is to create a feedback file (Troubleshooting > Feedback), download the archive, and look for a file named 'model' in the .zip. This file has the model string.

If it's a B-model, it will not have a letter, such as this one 5000B: "WBG-5000".

Another example 5500C: "WBG-5500-C"

Otherwise, if you can wait for CLI access, running 'mwg-info model' will be much quicker.

Will creating a feedback file affect mgw in any way? If so, I will probably just wait to get CLI access.

No, creating the feedback file will not have any impact on a running MWG. You are safe to create one in production.
