MCP 1.2.0.8 not redirecting traffic

Hi All,

We have a problem in our environment. 3 days ago, the MCP enforcement had stopped all of a sudden(which I suspect should be something that Infra team had changed in GPO would have caused). Can it is possible that if in GPO un-restricted internet access is allowed, it will override MCP policy?

Because if I enter the MWG server IP & port number in LAN settings, it works as expected.

Let me know any suggestions/resolution.

Hi Ashok,

There are only a number of scenarios where MCP may stop redirecting, if it cannot reach the proxy, or if you have corporate network detection setup.

Did you have an SR? If so, we can look at your policy to understand what might be happening. A wireshark trace would be useful as well in order to see what MCP is attempting to do.
