MWG ICAP encryption?

I am looking to see if ICAPS in the MWG supports end to end encryption. We are currently running our MWG as ICAP servers and using certificates (ICAPS) but i have been asked if it is encrypted. I just wanted to verify.

Yes it is.  ICAPS is used to secure the communication between ICAP client and server.

i am being asked to verify the cipher level that icaps uses on the mwg. i have not been able to find this in any of the documentation.
