McAfee-GW-Edition + NiceProtect

I'm author of DotFix NiceProtect software protection system.
After protecting any EXE file using our protector,
your antivirus Alert: "Win32.Malware.gen (suspicious)".

I'm contact with your support center and don't get any answer about
this problem.

All examples sended to virus_research@avertlabs.com

As I see - this problem is not for only NiceProtect, but for some
other russian software protection systems.

Please fix this False Alert!

If you need some help from us to do this - please contact me.

At this time I will recomend our customers uninstall your
anivirus protection and use more stable Kaspersky Antivirus.

If the file is submitted correctly Avert Labs will auto-respond immediately and follow up with a regular email within 24-48 hours which, should it be negative, you should immediately reply to, keeping the headers intact and appeal their decision. Check your spam and junk filters.

Email file to: [EMAIL="virus_research@avertlabs.com"]virus_research@avertlabs.com
When submitting samples via E-mail all samples must be packaged in a .ZIP file. When creating this .ZIP file, it is important to understand that the .ZIP can be no more than 3 megabytes in size and can contain no more than 30 files. Additionally, any .ZIP file created must be password-protected using the password "infected" (minus the ""). Failure to follow these guidelines will cause your submission to be rejected.

I'm afraid there is nothing we can do in these forums to expedite that process.

All anti-virus applications make these kind of mistakes from time to time, including Kaspersky.

And no way to report your AV analytics about false alarm.

I don't need robots, I need to contact with real analytics and need to fix this false alarm immediately.

RE: McAfee-GW-Edition + NiceProtect

So "and don't get any answer about this problem". isn't really the case.

Try replying to that email explaining why.
