McAfee Web Gateway reverse proxy client Geolocation block rule

Hi there,

I'm wondering is there any client ip geolocation block rule for reverse proxy setup. It should be similar like a URL.Geolocation rule but for client ip instead of destination ip. I know that i can build block rule based on specific country ip ranges, but i don't think that would be a good idea since each country has many ip ranges. What I need to achieve - block all client requests if their ip address originate from Bulgaria or other country defined by ISO 3166 country code.

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

Note:-  Cloud lookup needs to be enabled for this, local lookup should be disabled.

Their is also a thing to keep in mind that is  possible to fake/spoof IP Address.
