Problem with Downloads only on Internet Explorer

Hello !

since I updated our Web Gateway to Version 7.8.2.11.0 Downloads on Internet Explorer don´t work anymore.

The progress page will show up, but nothing happens.

It only says "Downloaded |a of |b. just like in the attached file.

I installed another instance of Web gateway with Version 8.1.4 and the problem remains.

The Same Downloads work on Chrome and Firefox without any problems.

Is this a Problem caused by Internet Explorer not getting Updates anymore or does anyone else have this issue?

Hi MikeKevin,

We have published a KB very recently to address this issue.

Downloaded |a from |b (file download fails and progress pages are not displayed when using Microsoft Internet Explorer 11)

Hi,

 

I've got the exact same problem.

It looks like the progress page is not refreshing in Internet Explorer anymore, so the page just shows Downloaded |a of |b like in your screenshot.

Nonetheless webgateway still downloads the file. When it's finished and you refresh the page, then you will get the "Progress Done" page with the download link.

I've recently had a few people receive this error but when I check the knowledge center KB91771 no longer exists.  Is there an updated KB number for this issue that I can reference?
