Restrict troubleshooting access

Hello,

with the intend to take some workload away from our group, we plan to give our helpdesk access to the "Troubleshooting" tab of the MWG GUI to do rule traces.

Unfortunately, troubleshooting includes the ability of backup/restore (which is dangerous) and packet tracing (which can lead to severe problems if the disk runs full due to a not stopped trace).

Is there a way to restrict this access further?

Hi Holger,

Unfortunately it's currently not possbile to further restrict the permissions.

Maybe an additional information you should keep in mind:
When granting permission to the troubleshooting tab you also give root privileges when accessing an
appliance on the command line of a system console to that user.
