Hi Everyone,
Do you have any issue with Youtube Filtering when using Microsoft Edge and Chrome? Youtube Filtering seems not working but when using Internet Explorer its works.
We are using McAfee Web Gateway v8.2.18.
Thanks.
Just tested it with fresh latest edge / win 10 20h2 and indeed it doesn't work
I presume it is somehow related to ads, videos that doesn't have ads before them seems to work fine, and block screen appears, others seems to pass category restrictions policy because of ads.
Mcafee still registers the block event, but youtube somehow redirects the video
This was clearly working before this massive youtube ads campaign
PFA
Your xml works in terms of extracting videoID, and not throwing error unlike the latest https://contentsecurity.mcafee.com/ruleset_library/dl?type=package&rule_id=50048
But still the result is Youtube page with you're offline indicator, and not the block page. (see screenshot)
Strange....
It is working fine in IE and Firefox, only chromium based browsers (Edge, Chrome) on Windows seems to have the problem
