no value for ProtocolDetector.DetectedProtocol

Jump to solution

I have following rule

Policy : Ruleset "Enable" and applies to "Requests" onlyProtocolDetector.DetectedProtocol_001.jpg

In ruletraces I never see any value for ProtocolDetector.DetectedProtocol.

Below are some screenshots of a HTTP Connect. But I have the same problem with other requests. Other properties are working fine, like Application.name for example. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Joeri,

The Protocol Detector only comes into effect when using SOCKS. I would assume that you are not using the SOCKS feature and the request is just a normal HTTPS request.

In this case the property "Connection.Protocol" should contain the information you are looking for.
