After applying 5.10 update 10, Tomcat service is no longer present in Services

Jump to solution

After a seemingly successful update, the services would be restarted, which failed. The Tomcat service has not been registered by the updater and is therefore not included in the list of available services. Service

Update completed 100%

Start Service Tomcat (Failed)

Start Service Apache (Failed)

Start Service EventParser (OK)

Try to start the Services Manually

McAfee ePOlicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 Application Server Service , Disabled (Message: Marked for Deletion)

Rebooted Server

McAfee ePOlicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 Application Server Service no longer available in the list of services

Anyone have any suggestions how to solve this?

SR is raised at McAfee.

Is there anyway to register the Tomcat9 manually using a script, or is the problem more complicated?
