Agent-Handler - LOG

Jump to solution

I made the configuration of Agent-Handler for each group to use the correct one. Does the client have any logs that can see / confirm which server it is looking for? I would like to see in the log and confirm if the client is connected in the correct Agent-Handler.

Looking at the column information, I found an option that shows the name of the agent-handler.

Thank you reply and help 🙂

Hi Tiago,

I have found it only really connects when trying to do a communication or update rather be shown as constantly connected.

Easiest way to see will be

Right click agent on client machine and open your status monitor

Then do collect and send props.

It should tell you which it is connecting to as part of this process, ie ePO or agent handler.

Also if you connect to the server that the AH is installed on you will have logs there in the relevant folder which will show you the PC's that are talking to it as part of the communication / update process.

Is the screenshot provided the only assignment rule you have? You should have Agent handler and epo in that list.

Thanks

Aj

Hi @Aj-richer

Tks for the anwners.

Is there any other place where the Agent-Handler configuration is made?

The Agent-Handler server name did not appear on the agent-monitor. Does the interface have any other place I can see if it's connected to the agent-handler?

Looking in the agent-handler log it looks like the "win10" desktop has gone there. That's right?ePO_meganfox_log.PNGePO_agent_monitor_win10.PNGePO_AgentHandler_group_v2.PNG

Good Stuff.

I thought that you had a problem with communication overall but yes that is an easy way to see.  It will also show you on the agent handler page how many systems are on each AH which you can drill down into for system names.

Glad it's working.
