I'm doing an eval right now so I have EPO installed.
McAfee Antivirus isn't one of the things I"m currently evaluating. So I need to install AV from our current vender.
Are there any special antivirus exclusions that should be in place, other than potentially the exclusion for the sql express install
Solved! Go to Solution.
You could exclude the ePO install directory; however, unless you have a fairly substantial deployment base I don't think you will notice any difference in performance with or without the exclusion.

Thanks in Advance.
AJ reminds me of an angle I hadn't thought of. I was focused on the epo server. But my laptop with McAfee encryption would need exclusions as well in a production environment as his linked article points out.
I think an eval I'm going to go with jstanley, and just leave it alone.
I appreciate the help.
