Can Mcafee endpoint get virus definition from the mcafee cloud?

I have a Mcafee EPO on-premise. If let's say one of my client pc is not connected to corporate LAN and can't get virus definition from the McAfee EPO. Can the pc get the virus definition from the internet instead?

In the Agent > Repository policy, check the Repository list and make sure you have a McAfee site set as a fallback

Thanks for your post.

Please make sure that Fallback repository is enable.

If the machine is not able to connect to ePO in that case this will take the updates from Fallback repository.
