Cloned ePO to different domain

Jump to solution

Hi,

I have cloned ePO to different domain / disjoined and rejoined to domain, reconfigured ePO hostname and DB configuration and connected, ePO working fine, however when I deploy the agent, it is not communicating to ePO, it is giving the below error:

Agent Failed to send events

cmdagent.Error:Events send to epo, command initiated by cmdagent failed, 29.

.

Thanks,

Since server has been renamed, do this.  Go to menu, registered servers, edit the epo local server registration and make sure it matches core/config.  Then go to server settings, server certificate, and regenerate the cert there, restart epo services.  Once you do that, stop apache and regenerate the apache cert per kb90760.  See if that helps any.

You need to check server log on the epo server to see if the client was able to at least reach the server, and the masvc log on the client to see what the exact failure is.

client logs are located in the c:\programdata\mcafee\agent\logs directory and server logs are in the db\logs folder where epo is installed.
