In this policy, on the updates tab, I can check packages and service packs. If I check lets say Endpoint Security Platform and the client has VirusScan Enterprise, will it install Endpoint over the top of it?
What I am trying to do is deploy a patch automatically to Endpoint security machines, but if those check boxes are check I don't want to take the chance to install a product that can't or won't run on the machine.
I''m running ePO 5.10 update3

Updates are only for patches and other content type installs. If VSE is installed, it won't install an ens patch because the base ens product is not installed. That would require a deployment task instead of update.
