Deploying agent to PC's which already have manually install of McAfee?

Hi,

We have many PC's with McAfee 8.7i manually installed, if I install the agent (via our ePolicy 4.5 sevrer) the PC shows as being non-compliant. Is the general rule to install the agent, uninstall the McAfee on there and get teh client task to re-install 8.7i? Or just leave it?

I wouldnt have thought it mattered how ti was instaleld TBH.
When you click on the machines in ePO does it show that VSE8.7 is installed?
If it does, then it probably a problem with the criteria on the report you are using.
If it doesnt, then there must be something wrong with how the agent is reporting.
Maybe you dont have the extension checked into ePO for VSE 8.7.

Challiwag is right, ePO 4.0 doesn't have VSE 8.7 extension installed by default and so any computer with VSE 8.7 installed will be shown as no compliant
