Distributed repositories and branches

Jump to solution

Hello,

I stumbled across an odd behavior and I am not sure whether it is an issue or a feature!

We have several repositories and I want to switch some of them from 'All Packages' to 'Selected Packages'. However, when I want to select a product to be replicated I am able to select only the version in the Current Branch. The packages in Previous and Evaluation branches are no even visible. I am forced to keep at least two versions of most products so does this mean that I can only replicate the version in the current branch? It seems like an odd limitation. Am I missing something here?

Thank you in advance!

The list you see on the "Selected Packages" section is not  a list of what's on the current branch, its a list of what exist on the repository disregarding which branch so if you select one package from that list the replication will happen for all branches where the package exist, for example if you select DAT files and they exist both on current and pervious then the replication task will replicate both branches automatically

Alejandro
