Does EPO update the sitelist.xml on clients when they are wrong on the client??

ePO Build: ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 (Build 2428)  ON PREM
Update Installed: Update 9 (2.0.0.949)
Time: 1/25/21 9:18:57 AM CST
McAfee Agent 5.7.1

We have client agents that do not have the correct sitelist.xml.  They only have the internal address for EPO and not the DMZ Agent Handler address to check in when off network/at home.  They have VPNed into the network and are able to check in but we want them to work with out VPN, thus the DMZ Agent.

How do we get EPO to update that on our client machines when they check in??  Is there a task or setting for this somewhere??

You would control that by agent handler assignment rules.  Go to Menu, agent handers, then you can set up assignment rules there.  Keep in mind that it is a top down parsing of the rules, so you need to put the most restrictive at the top of the list so that the bottom of the list applies to the bulk of the systems.  Unfortunately, that requires the agent to be able to talk to epo to get an updated sitelist.  If it can't, then you may have to reinstall the agent, or you can use maconfig to point it to a sitelist.  Refer to the MA product guide for that (changing from unmanaged to managed section).  That will update the sitelist manually.
