EPO Web console

Recently installed latest version of EPO(5.1.0) on a new Windows 2016 server but when I try to launch it from the server, the web page won't come up. I get the first little Click-Here link in the middle of the screen which just opens to a grey page with no content. The EPO console opens fine from my workstation. This is just an issue on the server where the EPO is installed. I've tried various IE settings to no avail. I didn't want to go installing other browsers just yet. Thanks! - Mike

Re: EPO Web console

First, don't turn on compatibility view settings for it.  Second, add the site to trusted sites in IE.  That typically allows it to open locally.  Make sure you are also using the NetBIOS name, since that is what the browser cert is issued to.

If it still fails, it may be due to the IE security settings that tend to block sites when it doesn't recognize the root cert authority.  If that is the case, try running it in Chrome where it will allow you to open page anyway.  This is actually a pretty common issue on the server itself.
