I have a new 5.10 ePO server. When I attempt to connect to the software manager, I get the following error message:

Hello @Former Member

Check if you have white listed the below site in your firewall or network device on port 443.
epo.mcafee.com
Software Manager is a Web server which should be accessible to epo.mcafee.com to get the relevant files from our server via port 443.

Please be very careful posting server information in a public forum. I would suggest editing your post to blank out server names.

MCUPLOAD SecureHttp.cpp(1384): Failed to send HTTP request. Error=12002 (12002)
Why is it going to that server instead of epo.mcafee.com? That is not the right site for it to go to. Does it have access to epo.mcafee.com? If your organization has customized a site to pull down that info, it is not reaching it.

Hello, due to DoD configuration requirements, it has to go to that particular site to pull software updates.
Software updates regarding the master repository pull task? That is not the same site for pulling software catalog info. That has to come from epo.mcafee.com.
