We are running ePO 4.5.5 build 1188 and have 14 tasks listed in the Server Task Log with a status of "waiting". These tasks range from 12 months old to 2 months old. How do I terminate them?
Thanks,
Brandon L

Assuming that you have already tried to terminate them via the "Actions" button.
The only other way I know of is to bounce the three ePO services via the services.msc.
Hope this helps.

Mark
I have a similar problem on ePO 4.6. I have some "Run Client Task Now" tasks running that never end. After some time (within a month) it makes it impossible to view them, and scrolling down to them, or filtering for "In Progress" only results in errors. Only restarting ePO services will fix (temporary).
Lucky for me we install Windows updates and reboot the server every month.
Thanks for the responses guys, here is more info:
The "terminate task" button is grayed out if I click on the task and open more details.
If I check the box (selecting a single task in the task log view) both "terminate task" and "purge task" buttons are grayed out .
I have restarted ePO services several times.
I have rebooted the server several times including a complete system shutdown where I shut down all agent handlers, shut down ePO, restart the SQL server, start the ePO and start the Agent Handler with no change to the 14 replication related "waiting" tasks...what do we do?
Thanks,
Brandon

EPO 4.5 is end of all ---> see Technical Articles ID: KB76892
First of all Update to epo 4.6 or 5.1
--> then look if the problem still exist.
