Install McAfee 8.5 on Clients from ePo 4.0

Hello guys

You can call me stupid, but I couldn't find the solution -.-

How the hell do I install McAfee AntiVirus 8.5 on the clients from the ePo 4.0 Orchestrator Administrion when only the agent is installed ??

On Protection Pilot (what I used before) this was very easy, but now I can't find it...

BTW: Setting up Policies was no problem, they do even work...but bringing out McAfee 8.5....

How install on ePO

Then file your installation package in "Software/file a package"

If there is no Client task "Deployment VSE" or "Installation VSE", create one happy

Ok sorry, but another Question 😄

When I install 8.7i, will they have the same policies I made for 8.5i? (Because in the Policy-Choice I don't see McAfee Enterprise 8.7i..). And if so, do I have to create an uninstall Task for 8.5i AND the Install task for 8.7i or ONLY the Install task for 8.7i ?

You need to also import the VS EXTENSIONS .zip that was in your VS .Zip Package.

you also need to run the policy migration tool ( from the vse 8.7 zip) on the epo server ONCE, there is no gui to this it just works
