Locked Client Systems Due to Failed Password Attempts

Jump to solution

Good morning all!

Came in this morning with plans to push out the Endpoint HOTFIX, and during configuration of the deployment task, go the following error page:

"Use the Endpoint Security: Locked Client Systems Due to Failed Password Attempts report to unlock client systems."

Having never seen this error before, I switched over to Queries & Reports, and after eventually finding the report, ran it and found nothing.  Running the report multiple times got me nothing.  It seems the report cannot find any "Locked Client Systems".

Is there something I am missing?  I want to put the hotfix out this morning.

TIA

You might need to ask the ens guys about that.

Did I mention that the report showed me nothing, i.e. no systems, or a blank page?

I started pushing out the updates one system at time, and have not had a recurrence of the error page.  Thus far, out of 435 systems, only one is not taking the update.

Now I am confused . . . what causes this kind of lockout?

Since I can't move the question, I'm retyping the question over into the ENS group. Yeah, finding the reason for the error seems to be the thing now.
