Mcafee Epo 5.10.0 update 13

When I try to update a module, I get a error as below. I am working updating my modules then our server to update 15. I did search for the board but having an issue nailing down what is the problem with our server.

Does the log show it going to epo.trellix.com or epo.mcafee.com for the product compatibility list?  KB95905 has script to update the url to trellix.com.  Try that first.  You also don't have to go to 13 before 15, as the updates are cumulative.

When I do a refresh on the Software Catalog I get:

Does the log show it going to epo.trellix.com or epo.mcafee.com for the product compatibility list?  KB95905 has script to update the url to trellix.com.  Try that first.  You also don't have to go to 13 before 15, as the updates are cumulative.

I did the command and was able to check in the software catalog but now I am getting this message.

Failed to get a lock on repository indicates some repository task is running, even if you may not see it.  That would include pull task, replication, checking in any component.  If you don't see anything running in server task log, then turn off all epo services and do not kill the tomcat process when it takes a long time to stop.  Let it stop on its own, no matter how long it takes.  Then restart services and see if you have same error.

I just restarted the server, but there was no change. Do I still need to go through the services

The purpose of stopping the services vs rebooting is to allow tomcat to close cleanly.  When tomcat gets a stop command, it has to close out existing connections and transactions and that might take a little time.  So if there are tasks pending termination or hung, some tasks running a very long time, that can clean up those threads.  A reboot doesn't wait on the process to close on its own.
