Mcafee agent unable to get install or get configuration from Mcafee EPO Server.

Hi Team,

I am facing some issues. when I tried to install the McAfee Agent on the client-side for the installation of the Mcafee suite on the client-side. The McAfee agent is unable to install or get configuration from Macfee EPO Server.  Screenshots are also attached with this. I am new therefore, I am unable to fix this kindly help me.

I also am experiencing this issue, but only with our new Windows Server 2019 Datacenter servers.  I have made sure all the ports are open between the endpoint server and the ePO server, and still I get no connection.

What agent version are you trying to install?  Does the agent install and just communication failing?  What are the specific errors?  Make sure you have a supported agent version for that OS - kb51573.  For communication failures, look at the masvc log on the client (c:\programdata\mcafee\agent\logs) and search for asci.  You will then see failures there and can search kb for specific errors.  

Be careful posting any screenshots or log entries here that may contain sensitive information, as this is a public forum.

You also might want to start a separate post if your issue is different than original post, as solutions could get a little convoluted as to what post it belongs to.

Actually, the agent is unable to install on the client-side. screenshots are already shared with the previous email. If the agent is unable to install on the client machine then how can I get the log file on the client-side.

Yours looks like a proxy issue.  Are you using on prem epo or cloud?  Are the systems on the network or off network?

I am using an on-prem Mcafee EPO Server. All the clients are on the network. I am unable to install the Macfee agent on any new Machine. Please help me.

You are using any proxy/firewall .

Have you tried installing with the help of framepkg.exe ?

If still not getting resolved please do check once your settings else open a new service request with support.

Nope, I am not using any proxy/firewall. It's working some days before. but now it's not working. The agent is unable to install on the client-side. It says that Downloading Configuration fule from ERO Server and stuck. 

Have you tried installing with the help of framepkg.exe? No, I am not trying this method. Could you please guide how can I do that.???
