Moving Windows Server that hosts ePO to another subnet

We are needing to move our virtual server that runs ePO from a VMWare cluster on one subnet to another virtual server environment on another subnet (172.16.2.x to 172.16.50.x). All of the end user computers will be able to see both subnets. My question is will the agents update to the new ip address if we update our DNS entry for the ePO server name (AEO-UTIL) from the old subnet ip address to the new one?

Re: Moving Windows Server that hosts ePO to another subnet

Yes, they will, especially if system name is staying the same.  The agents try 3 methods - fqdn, IP and NetBIOS.  As long as dns is updated with right pointers, they should be fine.
