Hi- I am learning McAfee as I go along. We currently have our users on ENS Security Platform 10.6.0.542 & ENS Security Threat Prevention 10.6.0.672, along with Agent 5.5.0.447.
I've seen in Software Manager that updates are available for these components. I'd like to install the latest updates on only a few test systems before rolling it out to everyone else.
I've already created a subgroup in the system tree. I've moved test workstations to that subgroup. I have been following McAfee documentation on EPO and it says to duplicate the general policy, and then on the updates tab, select evaluation branch. I don't see 10.6 present as shown in the below screenshot.
I'll also include a screenshot of our Repository. (see below link)

I see duplicate entries. Could this be the cause? I think what I want is: the newest patches to be in the Evaluation branch, the next previous (what we have installed across the enterprise) set as the Current branch, and the next previous set as the Previous branch.
Sorry for being a newby, but I am learning the ropes on this. I appreciate any help offered.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You have checked in the full install instead of just the patch. Full installs go out through deployment tasks and patches through the update task. Check in the patches only into evaluation branch and they will show up.
