Problem with ePO 4.0 P4 and GSE 7.0.1

hi guys,

ive recently installed GSE 7.0.1 on our exchange server to replace our ancient TrendMicro product which no longer works.

i imported the 7.0.1 zip into the repository on epo but it shows up as 7.0.0? is this normal?

my main problem is when i try and view the policies for GSE "7.0.0" as it appears i just get blank pages when i try and view the policies for it...

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked in the extensions for GSE ? - usually extensions are a .zip inside the original Zip for the product (at least for ePO 4 I believe)

i have resolved the problem with mcafee support, turns out its a bug with rendering IE8 inside Firefox. just using IE8 by itself seems to show the policies ok.... weird that its the ONLY part of epo that suffers from this...

Interesting - is IE8 actually supported then ? - thought it might be too new....

I was aware of issues in general using "Non-IE" browsers but this is the first mention of any problems with IE Rendering that I've seen so far.

they said it is not yet, only 6 and 7. they said they have had problems with IE8 but when i use it normally by itself it works ok!
