Quick find fields

Is there any information on what fields are available for searching in Quick Find?

I have tried to search for a known system serial number, but get a blank result.

It is limited to these parameters.

System Name, Description, IP address, MAC Address, DNS Name, Agent GUID, User Name, Custom 1, Custom 2, Custom 3, and Custom 4

If you add a column to system tree page and have serial number field as a column, does it return result?  I don't think there is any list of anything like that.

I tried that, and no it doesn't return a result.

I can find it by using a custom filter but not quick search.

If the columns section doesn't find it, then are you possibly using a different field in your custom filter?  I believe it might be based on what columns are available for the system tree page.

Oh sorry, I misunderstood, the columns selection shows it, but it still doesn't find it with quick find

You can see the serial number showing in the previous screenshot, but no results when it is used in quick find

Let me see if I can find any info - that may be limited to just certain values to make it a quick search.
