Small portion of my servers are going to AWS - what are my options?

Jump to solution
I manage around 2k systems under a single ePO, and I've recently learned that about 200 of these systems will be moved to AWS cloud services. I need to know what my courses of action are to manage the McAfee Agents on these systems. I understand the latest release of ePO will run on AWS cloud services, I believe one course of action could be to run a separate ePO for AWS clients. If we were to go this route, would we need a different license? Alternatively, would it be possible to still manage this clients with a McAfee Agent from my standard ePO server?

You should still be able to manage your AWS clients from your existing epo.  You may have to open some ports in the firewall.  Refer to KB66797.

Hi Surrogate77,

I suggest a call to customer services to have the license matter at least checked, if there is a need to make changes they are the individuals that can take that action for you!
