System Information, LastUpdate column

Jump to solution

I was trying to use these information present in system properties, named "LastUpdate" in simple reports or tags, but this field is not available to use.

I´m using ePO 5.10.0 (Build 2428) Update 15.

Is there a way to use it in "reports" or "TAGs"?
Do I have to post a new idea/request?

Thank you in advance.

It isn't all dxl.  It is the last successful communication to the epo server.  The only options available for tag criteria are product versions and some system properties.  You can, however, create a query to look for systems out of date or with current amcore content, then create a tag for that and use a server task to run that query and apply tag based on the results.  It would have to be a table type query.  You might then want to set up another query opposite to that one to do the same thing to remove the tag when you no longer need it applied.

Thank you for the information.

I´m already using it, but it seems to be an old fashioned solluttion.

Its so strange because the old product for endpoint, VSE (VirusScan Enterprise), in legacy environments, have had this capacity and column like ."DAT Version (VirusScan Enterprise)";"Engine (x64) Version (VirusScan Enterprise)"; "Engine Version (VirusScan Enterprise)"; etc...

It´s so strange that ENS don´t have this kind of information related to "AMCore *....";

By the way. Right now I´m really know that I have to open a new Product Idea.

Thank you a bunch for this discussion/informatin exchange. It was awesome.

It's available under DXL client systems > Last update in my on-prem ePO

I can't see it as a tagging criteria, but you could make a query that creates a table of systems that match your specific needs and then use that to apply a tag

On system properties we have LastUpdate, on DXL Status we have "Last Update", both of them have the same information.

I expected that "LastUpdate"  column on system properties have had the last "Update Task"  date/time scheduled.

It is just the last time in the system connected to the dxl bus.
It should have information about DXL status.

Thank you a bunch.

The last update is referring to the last time the agent connected to epo, which would most likely also correspond to dxl communication.  It is not referring to last amcore or data update.

Thank you a bunch for the information.

I think that it´s name should be more instinctive/intuitive, like "LastDxlBusUpdate".

Is there a way to maket "AMCore Content Date" available to be used in a TAG?
