Unable to install Agent

Unable to install Agent

I am unable to deploy agent on a machine, we have many machines on that site which have agent installed, but installation on this machine comes back with an err code =53.

Please help

Hi Ammit,

That error message might be addressed with the below:

PushAgent.cpp(176): Failed to authenticate to \\Computer_name, err=53 (push McAfee Agent installation fails with an incorrect error)
Technical Articles ID: KB87046

Is that message reported in the "MFEAgent.msi.<date information>.log" file?
(located in the temp folder of the target client device)

Please also refer to KB56386 - that lists environmental requirements for pushing agents.
