Unable to install EPO 3.6.1 agent on local computer

I have a computer that did not want to take VirusScan 8.7i so I uninstalled all McAfee products. Now the computer gets an error when trying to install framepkg as a local admin. The log is shown below:

We have some other computers that are also having problems with installing 8.7 and they are in a condition where 8.0 or 8.5 is still installed with 8.7 and DATs are not updating.

The setup is failing on the CMA agent installation.
Can you past the contents of the log:

C:\DOCUME~1\admin\LOCALS~1\Temp\NAILogs\FrmInst_SG 321750037.log

Btw, have you rebooted the machine after uninstall?

I was able to install the agent finally. The Common Framework files must have had the READ-ONLY attribute set. Once I reset that attribute, deleted the files and then the install worked fine. Thanks for your time. However, now the issue seems that this client fails to update to the latest DAT.
