Re: Unable to update any packages on software catalog

I just tested it and am able to download and check in both with no errors.  Does the epoapsvr and/or orion log show any specific errors?  Are you going through a proxy?

Re: Unable to update any packages on software catalog

Having the exact same issues at two different customers. 2 days ago was the last connect to the update channel, if I retry to update the product list only a small red x will appear next to the retry button. Downloading any packages or bundles results in the error mentioned by the OP. Since we were planning to update to the new Trellix Agent any help would be appreciated.

Re: Unable to update any packages on software catalog

Check KB95499 for updated url's to whitelist.  The software catalog used to use epo.mcafee.com and s-download.mcafee.com.  Now it is using the trellix domain instead of mcafee.  You might want to run wireshark to see where it might be broken down - whether it is going through a firewall or proxy.

Re: Unable to update any packages on software catalog

Thank you for the reply, I'll go and check, but I'm fairly certain we never put any firewall rules up for the original mcafee urls in the first place. The server or epo itself doesn't need any adjustments?

Re: Unable to update any packages on software catalog

It needs update 15 installed to update the url's that epo uses.

Re: Unable to update any packages on software catalog

Aye, I see - we currently have Update 8 and 9 installed. I'll roll out the ePo Update and let you know if that resolved it, thank you!

Re: Unable to update any packages on software catalog

Would like to see how yours went. I just went from Update 14 -> 15 and I'm still seeing this issue.

Re: Unable to update any packages on software catalog

I would like to know what errors you are getting.  You might see some in the orion log too.  It first goes to epo.trellix.com, then to s-download.trellix.com to actually get the software.

Re: Unable to update any packages on software catalog

I'm currently still trying to update ePO but in the first step the updater complains about products and extensions not compatible but even though I deleted them (or didn't find them in the first place) it still won't update due to a handfull of incompatible packages.

Where else to remove or upgrade to compatible versions of software parts if not in Software catalogue and Master Repository. If anyone could advise I'd be very thankful.
