So I downloaded ePO 5.10.0 Evaluation and installed CU6 on it and deployed the 5.6 Agents with it, now I want to deploy VirusScan, in something called the Software Catalog which I guess used to be called Software Manager (please correct me if I am wrong) I only see a Patch 14 Package some Extensions and Hotfixes,
Why am I installing VirusScan instead of Endpoint Security? We are still running VirusScan in production and upgrading to ES is one of the projects I hope to be involved in, so I must learn how to do it.
So I tried to install the Patch 14 Package as somewhere I read / heard/ saw that McAfee products come bundled with all their prior updates/upgrades/versions so I thought I was good to go, wrong!
We are a paying Enterprise customer but I don't have our Grant number yet cause of the whole virus situation and us having to work from home blah blah blah, plus I thought the point of the Evaluation was to get a fully working product for a limited period of time, what am I missing \ doing wrong? How can I get a hold of the actual VirusScan package?
Please and thank you

Hi gregski,
Am not sure how evaluation works. I just checked in my Test machine, even i do not see VSE complete installer file. I agree with @awbattelle as you can install ENS instead of VSE. However since you said it is an upgrade project, yes it makes sense.
So i would recommended you to get in touch with your sales account manager to obtain the VSE installer package. Support will deal with product related issues (installation, configuration) other than that, you may have to contact the respective team. Hope i answered your query... 🙂

OMG, you mean you upgraded to ePO 5.10 and you are still using VSE? Please Upgrade to ENS. It's under the same license now. There really is no excuse.
