Even we are facing the similar issue in our environment.
You have updated that the issue is with the agent and not with epo. Is the issue resolved with the latest version of mcafee agent 5.7.5.504?
Is it advised to raise ticket for this issue or is the issue resolved by updating the agent?

This issue will be resolved with Mcafee agent 5.7.6. Today we have started releasing this version to customer facing this issue on a one to one basis, if you want to get a copy of that agent please open a service request so that we can hand that to you.
In normal conditions the General Availability of that version will be after a month or so.
