broken queries in new 5.10

Jump to solution

After upgrading to ePO 5.10, a number of my queries are broken. When I find the broken ones, the only option is to click details where it just says that this query won't work due to missing field xxxx.  Is there any way to just edit them removing the old field and puting in the new one? As it stands, it looks like I have to make it from scratch again losing which fields are selected and filtering settings.

There doesn't seem to be an easy way to find all the busted ones either other than eyeballing thru all the lists.

Ah ha!

clicking on the bad query, the export query still lights up so when I export it, I get the XML from the original query and the columns I had before.  Better than starting from scratch.

Unfortunately, there is no way to fix it when it shows invalid.  Did you upgrade some extensions before the upgrade to epo 5.10?  That can cause this issue sometimes, depending on the extension and what changes there are in the extension.

the upgrate pre-check said Deep Command and a few other extensions were not compatible, did not have updates, and had to be removed before we could proceed.

If the queries are related to those extensions, you won't be able to re-create them, so those would just be deleted.  Otherwise for other products that are still there, you will need to recreate them.
