I've faced the same error as you guys (Updating from ePO Update 15 to SP1). Services wouldn't restart due to a failing dll file.

Ticket raised to Trellix which confirmed today there is an ongoing issue with that update 
"Please be informed that the issue is confirmed as known with SP 1 installation and our Engineering team who is working on it, to remediate the issue, you may perform disaster recovery to bring the ePO back to working condition, if it is a Virtual machine, please restore using VM snapshot. https://kcm.trellix.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB66616 We will keep you informed as soon as we have an update from our Engineering."

We could easily revert back using a snapshot.

Hope the same for you guys.

Too bad Trellix themselves did not send a warning regarding SP1. We went along with the update, failed, services marked for deletion. Thank god we had a snapshot.

My update order start with my test environments, so no production issues for me right now. Except security issue. The apache security fix in SP1 is major, CVSS rating of 9,8. We can't wait with the upgrades

Did you run into the apache and eventparser crashing issue?  If so, have you provided mer?  I can't send it to dev without data.

The SP1 upgrade in my ePO test environment was successful. 3 ePO services in started/running and ePO console up and running

2 ePO production environments have been planned for tomorrow and this weekend.

Is the SP1 upgrade stable enough? Do you have anything to share of engineering?

I would wait to see what dev comes up with.  If it was only one or 2 systems failing, I would go for it, but that is not the case.

Can I get from everyone that is having issues with sp1 what platform your epo is running on?  I ask because in one of our test lab environments, things work fine, but in another vmware environment, it consistently fails.
