ePO: How to find multiple systems based from a list?

Jump to solution

Hello,

I run into this matter just. We have a customer environment with about 25.000 systems in a pretty complex tree structure, and have a need of finding systems based from a list of about 400 IP addresses.

Now, I don’t want to make a query and manually add 400 IP one by one.

This is a new routine that will occur every day with a new list of new IPs.

Any suggestions on how to do this in a very easy way?

Regards

David

Ok, I solved it myself  I wrote some code that takes care of a text file with IP addresses or system names and generate a formatted XML that I can import as a query. Takes me 1 minute to make a list of 400 IPs to a ready to use query in ePO ... phew!!
