ePO Web API Package Checkin

Hi,

I need to use the ePO Web API to check in the McAfee Certificate Update package (CERTEEDK1000.zip) from KB91697 (https://kcm.trellix.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB91697).

Unfortunately the package is unsigned (kind of ironic considering) so I am getting an error from the "repository.checkInPackage" command that the package is unsigned... There isn't a documented switch to skip the SigCheck but since you can do this from the console I am guessing there is an undocumented command?

I thought I could just it myself using the EEDK but that's been pulled due to the rebrand... not my day 🙂

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: ePO Web API Package Checkin

The cert package was created as a convenience for customers to check the cert and it was made by eedk.  You should be able to check it in normally via console.  I don't know of a way to disable signature verification via api.

Hopefully within the next week or 2 there will be a new rebranded eedk version released.  It will still only be supported on the community forum, but when it is available, I will post it and update the links.
