ePO not seeing correct IP on Linux machine

I have installed Mcafee on a Linux machine that is coming up as rogue. The Linux machine has two 'bond' interfaces that it uses. I need ePO to see .82 address instead of the .83 address. I have brought down the bond.83 and ePO will see the bond.82 until I bring the .83 back up.

The agent reports what IP the OS gives it as the primary, so that is out of control of the agent itself.

Solution

Customers are requested to work with Microsoft to force the computer to report the NIC with the external IP address first.

Or in your case, Linux.
