This should actually go to the McAfee Tool Exchange forum for support with custom scripts.

Re: script to create importable xml for a query

Hi,

The script I made makes it possible to create importable xml queries. For example, if you have 500 system names, you add the system names to a text file and then create the Query with a single click. You can use either system names or IP addresses.

This generator is now compatible with ePO 5.9.0

You can download it from my own repository: http://mv41.se/files/McAfee/CePOQ.exe

Version 1 SHA256:7af97b4fa86fb5c317d0b2509d476fa542b3d667f4aedb75ff88a4a7eedef813

1.) When you start the app it will create a new or open a txt file named IPlist.txt.

2.) Paste the list of IP, System names or User IDs to the list.

3.) Give the XML a name and click Generate XML.

4.) The XML will be created in the same folder as the app.

Re: script to create importable xml for a query

Well, the code simply builds the XML depending on the selection you make. Its not very hard to generate the correct xml. The challange is to parse the xlm to find and insert the correct variables.
