no error description, but no processes running when running sudo ./setup.sh

You may try adding permission to the installer file.

chmod 755 setup.sh

Then try to run it again.

Incase the installation still fails, please share the screenshots:

1. ls -l setup.sh

2. What shows up when the installer is run ./setup.sh.

1. Version of Linux 

2. Version of EDR client being installed on the system

3. Is McAfee Agent installed?
