ePO on-premis migrationto MVision ePO

Hi,

I'm experiencing a strange behaviour during migration of systems from ePO on premise 5.10 update 12 to MVision ePO.

I'm logged in in my onprem ePO with sso administrator of MVision ePO and using Migration tool all steps works fine but when I choose which systems migrate it starts, I see the name of the systmes in the correct container in the system tree of MVision ePO but after few hours no one system is migrated.

When I have done the first time almost 15 systems are migrated but after that time it stops working.

any idea?

Thank you

Re: ePO on-premis migrationto MVision ePO

From my understanding OnPrem EPO to mvision migration works but it is stuck, not all the machines migrated to Mv-EPO only handful of systems migrated.

MVISION ePO starts to manage all migrated systems. Migration begins during the next agent-server communication, and systems start to communicate with MVISION ePO.

Make sure the remaining machines are communicating to the EPO and check the Tags applied to the on-prem machines which is eligible for migration.

If its stuck indefinitely even the targeted agents are reporting to On-Prem EPO,  then please log a ticket with Support for further investigation

Re: ePO on-premis migrationto MVision ePO

Hi,

thank you. I will open a SR because the migration for systems elegible for migration after many hours of running task are only listed  in MVision ePO. What I don't understand is why the first time the procedure has worked (almost 15 systems) but at the second time stopped working.

Thank you

Are the systems showing as eligible or not eligible for transfer?  Any errors in the console or orion log?
